Pre-School at Kinchen Hall, Colman Road

Sessions are held in Kinchen Hall, Colman Road, offering good quality pre-school education for children from 2 years to school age. Pre-school currently provides 15 sessions per week during term time, with 52 places available in all morning/afternoon sessions and 12 places available in all twilight sessions. We are able to accept both 2 year funding and working family funding for those families who are eligible. Through a mixture of structured activities based on themes and free play, children have the opportunity to interact with each other and develop their physical, social and intellectual skills in a caring and happy play environment.

For all 2 - 3 year olds in our Honeycomb room we offer the following sessions:

                            Monday to Friday    

Morning:            8:45am-11:45am         

Afternoon:         11:50am-2:50pm     

Twilight:             2:50pm-5:50pm   

For all 3 - 4 year olds in our Hive room we offer the following sessions:

                          Monday to Friday   

Morning:         8:30am-11:30am     

Midday:           11:30am-11.50am   

Afternoon:      11:50am-2:50pm     

Twilight:          2:50pm-5:50pm   

Any sessions that exceed your 15/30 hour free entitlement will be charged at £19.30.

Midday sessions can only be used as part of a combined morning and afternoon session, not to extend the morning/afternoon session.

Session Charges

All unfunded 2-3 year olds - £20.75 per session.

All funded 2-4 year olds - £20.75 for any sessions that are in addition to the 15 or 30 hours free entitlement.

Midday charge: 11:30am-11:50am - £2.90 (For all children claiming their 3-4 year old funding in the Hive room).

Breakfast club charge: 7:45am-8:30am - £5.65

For all sessions at Pre-School and Out of School Clubs there is a 20% reduction for any sibling that attends the same paid session.
