Our Sensory Rooms
One thing that helps us to stand out from the crowd is our dedicated sensory rooms at each of our settings. The sensory rooms provide a safe and stimulating space for all children to explore, and they are especially good for children with special educational needs. To make the room as sensory as possible there are different textures in the decoration, there is a music system and toys that make noises, sensory lights and lots of interactive features. As a setting, we have found that the Covid Pandemic had an effect on children's personal, social and emotional development. In light of this, we decided to create a safe and calm space where children could explore resources that promote self-regulation. The rooms also benefit and promote the development of children with SEND, giving them a space to explore which meets their individual sensory needs.
